Subject : Compliance Audit of Exempted/ Relaxed Establishments- Regarding.
i) EPFO, Head Office Circular No. C-Ex/Misc/comp Audit/2015 /9604 Dated: 13.08.2015.
ii) EPFO, Head Office Circular No. Exem/10(20)2016 /standing Committee/7963 Dated: 26.07.2017.
Please refer compliance audit directions vide circulars under reference above, it has already been directed that securing compliance and ensuring default management through compliance audit of all Exempted and relaxed establishment is an annual exercise and need no separate directions from the Head Office in this regard every year.
2. It has also been reminded through Head Office Circular dated 26.07.17 regarding completing the compliance audit up to 2016-17 But it has come to the notice that some of the field offices have not yet completed the task of Compliance Audit of the Exempted/ Relaxed Establishments falling under their territorial jurisdiction by a special drive. Therefore, it is again reiterated to complete this exercise by 31stDecember, 2017 positively and report to Head Office by e-mail in the format annexed herewith by 08.01.18 through Addl. CPFC of the concerned zone.
3. Strict action subsequent to conduct of compliance audit should be taken against the defaulting establishment as per the guidelines issued by the Head office under the law including cancellation of exemption or withdrawal of relaxation as the case may
