Subject: – Aadhar based identification of pensioners under EPS 1995 – reg.
1. Stoppage of disbursement of pension due to non submission of Jeevan Praman (Digital Life Certificate)
It has come to the notice of Head Office that payment of pension has been stopped in some cases by the field offices due to the reason of non submission of Digital Jeevan Praman.
In this regard, your attention is drawn to this office circular no. Pension-1/7(10)2016-2017/Jeevan Praman/1680, dated 08.11.2017 regarding methodology of submission of Digital Jeevan Praman / Life and non – remarriage Certificate by EPS-1995 pensioners and payment of pension thereof.
It is reiterated that the instructions as contained in the above circular may be followed strictly to ensure that no genuine pensioner is deprived of pension for want of successful submission of Digital Jeevan Praman only.
2. Examination and Approval of rejection cases of Digital Jeevan Praman.
As per dashboard on office wise Status of Aadhar Based Jeevan Praman, 3,79,643 Jeevan Praman submitted by the pensioners have been rejected by the Field Offices. Another 1,35,086 Jeevan Praman are pending at Field Offices for approval. RPFC’s in-charge of the Regions are requested to examine all rejection cases of Digital Jeevan Praman, at RPFC level and ensure approval of genuine cases which can be accepted as per extant instructions in this regard. Similarly, pending Jeevan Praman should be processed for approval on priority basis.
