Ministry of Corporate affairs (MCA) vide its Circular No. 03/2019 dated 11/03/19 clarified that until a revised version of e-form RD-1, amended as per the provisions of Companies (Incorporation fourth Amendment) Rules, 2018 vide notification no. G.S.R 1219(E) dated 18/12/2018 for filing of application for change in financial year u/s 2(41) and for conversion of public limited company into private company u/s 14, such applications shall be filed under the option “others” available in the e-form.
MCA further clarified, that such applications filed in e-form no.RD-1 should not be rejected merely on the ground that “others” is selected and “e-form is not available”, until the revised version of said Form is deployed by the Ministry.
