The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following :
(i) the appointment of Shri Anil Swarup, IAS(UP:81) as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment in the vacancy of Shri Ravi Mathur, IAS(RJ:79).
(ii) the appointment of Shri Vinod Kumar Thakral, IAS(MT:82), at present in the cadre, as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Steel in the vacancy of Shri B.K.Bharat Bhushan, IAS(KL:79).
