The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following :
(i) The appointment of Shri Rentala Chandrasekhar, IAS(AP:75) (Retired) as Chairman, NTRO, for a period of three years from the date of assumption of the charge or until further orders whichever is earlier.
(ii) The appointment of Shri S.Sundareshan, IAS(KL:76) (Retired) as Mission Director, Direct Benefits Transfer Scheme, Planning Commission, in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, for a period of two yeas with effect from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
