SO.___ In the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), number S.O. 479(E), dated the 4th March, 2011, for “section 31 of the said Act” read “Section 31 of the said Act as amended by sections 4,5,14,22,23 and section 24 of the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2007 (39 of 2007)”

CLR Note: As per notification number S.O. 479(E), dated the 4th March, 2011, the Central Government has appointed the 1st day of June, 2011 as the date on which Sections 5, 6, 20, 29, 30 and 31 of the Competition Act, 2002 shall come into force.
