The Ministry of Corporate Affairs website (the MCA21 portal) witnessed a huge surge of filing activities which saw the yearly filings surge to a new high of more than 100,000 filings on a single day i.e. on 26th Oct 2013. This number surpassed the previous high of 88,119 filings.
