As you are aware, in order to have all current instructions on the subject at one place, the Reserve Bank of India issues updated circulars / notifications. The instructions contained in the circular DNBS(PD)CC.No.197/03.10.001/2010-11 dated August 12, 2010 and Notification No. DNBS.(PD) 219 / CGM(US)-2011, DNBS.(PD) 220 / CGM(US)-2011 and DNBS.(PD) 221 / CGM(US)-2011 dated January 5, 2011 updated as on June 30, 2011 are reproduced below.
