ICSI No.1 of April, 2016 – The Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India pursuant to sub-section (1) of Section 21 of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980, as amended by the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 2006, has established the Disciplinary Directorate in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India headed by Mrs. Meenakshi Gupta, Joint Secretary who has been designated as Director (Discipline) by the Council of the Institute as notified in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary), Part III, Section 4, vide Notification ICSI No.1 of February, 2016 dated 4 th February, 2016 for making investigations in respect of any information or complaint received by it.
