ICSI to organise a program on Drafting on July 17, 2011, Sunday from 10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m at the ICSI CCGRT Conference Hall, Plot No. 101, Sector 15, Institutional Area, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai; with lunch and background material.
Clearly drafted documents are expected to improve compliance and decrease litigation. Four key criteria of Clarity, Correctness, Conciseness and Consciousness in drafting documents helps in conveying the meaning clearly, simply and effectively. In learning drafting and advocacy skills, one is actually learning skills, aptitudes and a way of thinking that helps prepare for all aspects of a Company Secretary™s work. To focus on some of these aspects, ICSI-Centre for Corporate Governance, Research & Training (CCGRT) is organising a one day program on the above subject particularly for the benefit of the young members and students.
The main focus will be to improve Drafting Skills and hence the discussion will aim on the following:-
- Principles of Drafting Notices, Resolutions and Minutes
- Format requirements for legal documents
- Plain English tools
- Art of Pleading
The profram will be honoured by Eminent faculty with practical exposure to the subject will address the participants.
