File your responses for trade marks proceedings electronically for speedy processing

The processing of trade mark applications is done electronically and the ExaminationReport made available to the public on the IPO website. Accepted cases are automaticallypublished in the weekly Trade Marks Journal. Applicant’s responses to the examination reportare also considered electronically by an authorized officer. While the office is taking steps todigitize all such received responses and upload the same to the computer server, there is a hugependency for digitization and uploading. In order to facilitate speedy consideration of theresponses, applicants/attorneys may file their responses electronically(a scanned copy to bemailed to parm.tmr@nic.in). Whereever physical copies of the responses have already been sentto the office, they may also be scanned and sent to the above e-mail address which will facilitateearly consideration.
