A delegation of Accountants headed by Mr. Ian Gomes, Partner Chairman, High Growth Markets from the United Kingdom (UK) today called on Union Corporate affairs Minister Dr. M .Veerappa Moily and expressed its desire to have regulators exchange programme on regular basis between India and UK. The delegation also desired to have exchange of professionals and training programmes of Chartered Accountants between the two countries.
Welcoming the delegation Dr. Moily said since the potential of India in this field is enormous and for this purpose the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (IICA) could be the nodal agency. He also advised the delegation to visit the Manesar (Gurgaon) campus of IICA.
