The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:
(i) Shri Jitendra Shankar Mathur, IAS(MP:82), Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the vacancy of Shri C.Viswanath, IAS(AP:81).
(ii) Ms.Annie Moracs, IP&T A&FS(79), at present in the cadre, as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting vice Shri J.S.Mathur, IAS (MP:82), upon relinquishment of the charge of the post.
(iii) Shri Susheel Kumar, IAS(UP:82), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests in the vacancy of Ms.Meera Mehrishi, IAS(RJ:79)(Retired).
(iv) Shri A.K.Mangotra, IAS(MT:78), Secretary (Border Management), Ministry of Home Affairs as Member Secretary, National Commission for Backward Classes under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
