Appointment of Common Adjudicating Authority for Customs ports for Mumbai, Kandla & Mundra

 New Delhi, dated the 24th August, 2011.

S.O.          (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Balaji Temple, Kandla, to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-

(i)         Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Kandla;

(ii)        Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Customs Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai;

(iii)       Joint Commissioner or Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mundra;

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show sause notice pertaining to M/s Reliance Port and Terminals Limited, Village-Meghapar/ Padana, Taluka-Lalpur, District-Jamnagar and others, issued videF.No.DRI/AZU/INV-21/2009 dated 25th March, 2011, by the Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad, Zonal Unit, Rupen Bungalow, Jain Merchant Society, Paldi, Ahmedabad-380007.
