ICSI pleased to reiterate that the Institute proposes to release the Guidance Note on Meeting of the Board of Directors and the Guidance Notes on General Meetings as guidance for the stakeholders in implementation of SS-1 and SS-2. These Guidance Notes set out the explanation, procedure, interpretations and practical aspects in respect of the provisions contained in the Secretarial Standards. These also address various issues/queries/concerns raised by the stakeholders on the particular Standard after the issuance of SS-1 and SS-2. The Institute feels that your suggestions would add value to the Guidance Notes before release.
In view of requests received from the Members, we are pleased to extend the last date for sending suggestions on the Draft Guidance Notes till 17th November 2015.
The proposed Guidance Notes to be released are the available at Institute’s website at http://icsi.edu/ssb/Home.aspx. In case, you feel any issue is not covered and is required to be added, you send your suggestion thereon.
