Handbook of Procedures Vol I (2009-14) now include Handloom in the expression Handmade

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby make the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures Vol I (2009-14):

2.         In Appendix 37D, Table-2, Sr.No.11, the Note: is amended to read as under:

Note: The expression ˜Handmade™ would include Hand-Made, Hand-knotted, Hand-Tufted, Hand-Woven and Handloom.

 

Effect of this Public Notice 

Earlier ˜Handloom™ was not included in the expression Handmade in the ˜Note™ in Table-2, Sr. No.11 of Appendix 37D. This has been rectified.
