The Internal Audit Standards Board (IASB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been constituted to reinforce the role of the Institute as a promoter and a source of knowledge relating to Internal Audit, this is with regard to the felt requirement of educating the members in the area of the Enterprise Risk Management and as part of capacity building of members. Thus to encourage the Internal Audit Standards Board of the ICAI is pleased to offer Certificate Course in Enterprise Risk Management to enable the members to develop competence in this emerging field and offer value added services.
The course aims’ to help the members in a way, where their outlook , approach changes and simultaneously widens up so that they can appreciate the risk as an opportunity rather than a threat and further on to it to help them gaining in-depth knowledge under guidance of renowned ERM specialist; to gain insights in ERM implementation; bring upto date on current thinking on risk management; to design and implement ERM.
This will result in structural approach toward risk management and develop the ability to manage the intricacies of dynamic business environment.
Thus, the course is available to the Members of ICAI and the Students of the Institute who have passed the CA Final Examination are eligible to pursue this Course. The last date for the receipt of the Registration Form is July 21, 2011 and the Registration is on First-Come-First Served basis on receipt of duly filled-in and signedapplication along with course fee.
