ICWAI- New Pattern of Examination for CAT students

All the CAT students are hereby informed that effective from June 2012 Examinations, the pattern of Examination for Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I will be as below:

 1. New Pattern of Examination:

Examination for Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I will consist of Multiple Choice Questions. Answers to the Multiple Choice Questions to be marked in Optical Mark Recognition ( OMR ) answer sheets. This pattern of examination will be applicable to all the students who are appearing for Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I in June 2012 and thereafter.

2. Structure of Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I

The Examination of Foundation course (Entry Level) Part-I shall be held on a single day (Sunday) in two sessions, Forenoon and Afternoon. The details of the papers covered in both the session would be:

Morning Session:-

Paper1- Organization and Management Fundamentals (40%)

Paper 2- Accounting (60%)

After noon session: –

Paper 3 .Economics and Business Fundamentals (50%)

Paper 4:.Business Mathematics and statistics Fundamentals (50%)

3. CAT Competency Level (Part- II) Examination:-

The existing pattern of Examination for Level II will continue for June 2012 examination also.
