Shri S. K. Mohanty takes charge as Whole Time Member, SEBI
Shri S.K. Mohanty has taken charge as Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India in Mumbai today for a tenure of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prior to this assignment, Shri Mohanty served as Executive Director in SEBI from September 2015. Shri Mohanty also served as the Director in Forward Markets Commission.
An officer from the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Shri Mohanty has earlier served in the Income Tax Department in various capacities at Kolkata, Nagpur and Mumbai.
