Two Professors of Amity University, Panvel held guilty of Sexual Harassment by the Universities Sexual harassment committee. The Complaint was filed by two women, one by a student and another by an employee of the university in October.
Following the Complaint, sources suggested that the accused dean (academics) passed comments with sexual overtones and tried to make physical contact with an employee, while the head of department (law) targeted a student.
The Amity University’s internal Committee against sexual harassment (CASH) began an inquiry against the two professors; Dr Rakesh Singh, dean (academics), and Dr Kuldeep Singh Panwar, head of the department (law) after the complaints were filed.
The committee’s inquiry report was submitted to Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Khole and the university has asked them to resign after they were held guilty by the committee.
