A Two-day Non-Residential Workshop on Knowledge of Disciplinary and Enquiry Procedures will be organised on the 13-14 May,2011 at ASSOCHAM House, 47 Prithviraj Road, (Opp: Safdarjung Tomb), New Delhi.
In a day-to-day administration management is called upon to take disciplinary action against erring workmen found guilty of misconduct. However, experience shows that many a time on intervention of court that faulty disciplinary procedure has not only been found illegal but led to reinstatement of workmen which adversely affect discipline in industry. Disciplinary procedure requires expertise in view of judicial pronouncements which have laid down various norms for taking disciplinary action against erring workmen. It is, therefore, necessary to equip the practicing managers / executives with required skills to enable them to manage the discipline and have full proof knowledge of intricacies in handling procedure, to equip them to discharge their duties better. The workshop aims to focus this issue and also the steps required to be taken in maintaining discipline, with the awareness of legal options in handling various issues faced by the management.
