The ministry of finance has provided an on the subject of continuation of Plan Schemes from XI to XII Plan, detailing the modalities for continuation of Central Sector (CSs) and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) from XI to XII Plan. It has come to the notice that the administrative Ministries have not been able to complete the process of evaluation and appraisal of Plan schemes, as per the above referred OMs of this Department due to delay in finalization of XII Plan outlays. Accordingly, to facilitate release of funds for schemes which are sought to be continued in the XII Plan, time limit for completion of evaluation by an independent agency and appraisal by an appropriate forum is extended till 31st March 2013.
