The Central Government vide Notification dated March 26, 2011 has amended Annexure A to the Companies (Central Government™s) General Rules and Forms, 1956 in Form 61, for serial number 6and the entries relating thereto.
The following serial number and entries shall be substituted namely :-
6. Application filed for:
¢ Compounding of offences;
¢ Extension of period for annual general meeting by three months under Section 166(1);
¢ Extending the period of annual accounts upto eighteen months under Section 210(4);
¢ Declaring a company defunct under Section 560;
¢ Scheme of arrangement, amalgamation;
¢ Normalising a dormant company;
¢ Others.The aforesaid amendment has expanded the scope for which Form 61 needs to be filed with theRegistrar of Companies.
