In the recent times, XBRL has emerged as a novel way of electronic communication of financial and business data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. Considering the benefits attached with implementing XBRL in the preparation, analysis and communication of business information, the regulators in India have also decided to implement XBRL in their reporting.
XBRL India, a company promoted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and which is the local jurisdiction of XBRL International in India is in the process of identifying people who are experts in the field of XBRL for building a
database and considering engaging them as resource persons for conduct of various training programmes and building backgrounders on XBRL. They may also be engaged in development of industry specific taxonomies so proposed to be developed in the times to come.
