It has come to knowledge that in the trademark database, the status of pending / registered trademarks have appeared wrongly in quite a number of cases possibly due to wrong entries in the system that has occurred over a period of time. A status change module has now been developed by NIC to allow certain authorized officials of the Trademarks Office to carry out necessary changes on the portal in a controlled fashion.
NIC will provide access to this module only to the authorized officers. The status change shall only be effected based on sufficient reasons entered in the system after uploading necessary supporting documents in the system
